Nedumangad Block Panchayat remains vigilant against drug abuse! 🛑✨
'Operation Toofan 2.0', a state-level anti-drug campaign jointly launched by the Kerala Police and the Local Self-Government Department, has commenced in Nedumangad Block Panchayat.
In the local inauguration ceremony held today (28.09.2026) at 11:00 AM at the Nedumangad Block Panchayat Office, Block Panchayat Secretary Smt. S. P. Malini presided over the event, and the official inauguration was performed by Block Panchayat Vice President Smt. Renuka Ravi.
The event was attended by the Block Panchayat Secretary, Standing Committee Chairpersons, Block Panchayat Members, Block Office Staff, other implementation officers, and other public representatives.
Key Decisions and Activities:
🔹 Flags and badges were distributed to all public representatives and officials to convey the anti-drug message to the public.
🔹 Public representatives and officials together took an anti-drug pledge.
🔹 The meeting decided to strengthen special 'Jana Jagratha Samitis' (People's Vigilance Committees) at the ward levels and intensify awareness programs in the Grama Panchayats under the Block Panchayat, namely Anad, Panavoor, Vembayam, Aruvikkara, and Karakulam.
